After finishing the final upgrade and rebooting my USB mouse is no longer
working.
Plugging in the USB dongle (it's a Logitech mouse with bluetooth connection,

Unfortunately the fix from bernaerts does not work on a PC I'm setting up now.

Using pm-hibernate might be prevented by /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d
/000kernel-change.
In this case it would be useful if it could (optionally?) fall back to
pm-suspend.

Most of the upgraded packages in your list are totally unrelated to
keyboards. The only one which might even be remotely related is
libgnome-desktop. It's much more likely that this happened due to a
kernel upgrade -- could you try and boot with an earlier kernel in the
grub boot menu and see

#63 solved my issue too.
Ubuntu 14.04.2 Unity.
Behaviour: some shortcut key combinations were not working suddenly.
f.e. ctrl+alt+T and custom shortcuts did not, but alt+TAB did work
And just Super key long press did work too, but not a combination with it.
