I'm not sure if this is a regression in my gnome-keyring, gdm3, or pam, or
local configuration.
As far as I recall, I should be running just "stock" configs.
I did not install system with disco, but upgraded to disco throughout
development series.
Upon booting, and logging
I also have recently added a second, non-admin, user account on the
system using the gnome control centre. Such that on the gdm3 login
screen I need to select which account I am logging into.
Not sure if this is relevant or not.

If you are getting/installing 'proposed' updates for bionic then you
would have received major updates to gnome-shell and mutter recently. So
that's one simple explanation.
Another possibility is that maybe you uninstalled or updated some gnome-
shell extension that was causing the leak.

I'm dropping block-proposed since I have run gnome-settings-daemon
3.31.90 for a while with gnome-shell 3.30 without problems.
On the other hand, I think that the 3.31.92 versions of gnome-settings-
daemon and mutter need to migrate together for keyboard shortcuts to
continue working.

problem has not recurred. There is a gradual increase in RAM usage, but

Thumbnails generated by Nautilus have a weird purple tint, presumably
some color channel is missing. These are HEVC/H.265-encoded videos
decoded into Planar 4:2:0 YUV 10-bit LE video at 1280x720 resolution.
Same tint appears at all Nautilus zoom levels.

Sorry. Can I said about one big problem that I noticed after Ubuntu
switched from Unity to Gnome 3? Why the launcher has so terrible animation.
