My suspicion is that we never get as far as askpass – gnome-keyring-
daemon spawns a ssh-agent to pass requests on to (in my case, that's
easy to spot because I use PKCS#11 tokens and that's the one spawning
ssh-pkcs11-helpers), and that one doesn't have DISPLAY in its

Thank you for your bug report, it's like an xorg server or video driver
issue. Could you add your 'journalctl -b 0' log after getting the issue?
Do you get any error report generated when triggering the bug?

70gconfd_path-on-session doesn't quote
Hi to all,
I switched to macOS after the ongoing issues that reoccured with 19.04
(including this one). I could not bear with it any longer (12 years are
a long time).
Sorry to be of no assistance to this and any other issues any longer.
