When logging in via RDP (xdrp) the buttons minimize and maximize are
missing at the top of each window (left of the destroy cross which is
available at the top-right).
The window color scheme also is light-grey, not the default Ubuntu 20.04
dark-grey.

With newest Ubuntu 21.10 (Impish) and the supplied TB version 91.1.2 the
problem is now highly critical...

from 21.04 to 21.10. When I reset dock settings in the dconf editor with

When using Wayland in 21.04, the display often never wakes up after lock
up. Also, on boot up, desktop icons and most favorites on dash are not
displayed, even though desktop icons are enabled. I can get them to show
up only by re-enabling desktop icons.
Not sure if I should report a new bug, but mentioned fix has an error itself.
So, still true in 21.10, because of the following rule in
/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/61-gdm.rules
# disable wayland for nvidia drivers versions lower than 470
