a copy to the top panel it later becomes hidden.
Sometimes it happens right away, others I must reboot, and when it

Both on my machine do not work. Hibernate, I get Authentication failed.
Letters must be typed in the correct case and I did not type anything
in. In suspend I get a white screen then it just returns to the login
screen.

that I changed since then, was I re-installed Ubuntu desktop
package and Network manager because of wireless issues. Perhaps network
manager was interfering with both.
Anyway, not sure. It works now, so It must have not been a major bug.

I can confirm this with Nautilus 2.18.1 in Ubuntu 7.04. I experienced
it when accidentally trying to delete 300 files on a mounted ssh
directory (Mounted using Places - Connect to server).

I have the same problem with nautilus in Feisty.
It appears to be a problem with all the columns. At least I checked name
and size. Both column widths go back to their default size whenever I
restart nautilus.
When trying to search for if this bug was reported or not, I also found
somebody
{linux32, AMD64, 2 CPUs} (Intel Core 2 Duo)
Might just be a coincidence, but I'd never seen this happen before until
I started switching between users via GDM. Previously I had only one
user account so I'd boot, login, and shutdown. I noticed the e-d-s

Last night I attempted to reproduce the problem using the live CD
I booted from the Hardy beta amd64 install CD and used the run option
under safe graphics mode (had to use safe as it looks like it was trying
to use the nv driver which doesn't work with DVI).
I was unable to reproduce the

ran xserver in safe mode. The problem still happened, so it does not
look like an NVidia problem.

I just installed a lot of patches today that included the kernel,
nvidia, libc6, etc. and I am still having the problem. I am getting
quite frustrated as it has been a week and I can't really use my
computer. I am not trying to vent, but I am debating removing Hardy and
going back to Gutsy which

Looks like changing the default profile to set to Keep initial title
does the trick. I incorrectly assumed that the command-line option of
--title would alway take precedence.
