I have seen this behaviour with existing accounts as well. Possible
issue with logging into the authentication server.

Build: RC2 - 20081120
Environment: PV2, SKU2, Bios: F.05
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Plug in USB thumbdrive
2) Click Files
3) Click the Go drop down menu
4) Select Computer
5) Right click on USB drive mount
6) Select Copy

I have just seen this issue. No steps to reproduce as far as I could
tell. System was idle and then notified me that power-manager had
crashed triggering apport.
