Probably the same problem. I'm sure my user has the permissions for creating files and I'm able to do it so via MC, but nautilus doesn't allow me to do the things I'm allowed in MC :( It seems that nautilus doesn't know the group of the user. -- inconsistent permissions in sftp (nautilus)
