Would be great to have something like this. I am desperate to get away
from Apples vendor-lockin but I have more than 20k photos.

In iPhoto there is a nice feature that displays a world map and then
adds pins for each collection of photos that have a location assigned.
Would be great to have something like that in Shotwell.
