Well I have just upgraded to kubuntu Hardy which has the fully fledged firefox3
packages.
FF3 starts in offline mode for me when connected via a speedtouch usb modem. I
connect to it using pon/poff as NM does not recognize any modem is plugged in.

video-cam in kdenlive (with firewire). Since a new .dv file is produced for
every scene kdenlive detects (typically 5 to 20 seconds) I get easily some
hundred .dv-files.

Right click on say an SWF file
Click on properties
Click on open with
select Firefox (or whatever you want)
Click on close and all files of that type will be opened by your chosen
application for that user in future.

folder in the clipboard and then want to change a folder name pasting a
file nautilius loses its functionality (as described above) - the only
way to restore it is to kill nautilius.
