I was able to find a workaround but I don't now how I did, because I usually
install and uninstall packets from third party repository and I played a lot
with gnome-audio-profiles-properties, so I'm not able to reproduce this
workaround.

I install gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse in Gutsy Tribe 3 and mp3
profile is choosable.
I think I made a mistake between gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly and

But I keep on thinking it's not much coherent that the profile is present in

when I attach usb cable, it mounts automatically all partitions I have in. (3)
Just after this, when I try to unmount one of them something prevents me from
unmounting it with error message.
Go further, when I try to unmount, the icons disappear, I get the error

I don't think it is a file system type problem.
Memory cards are usually vfat formatted (It seems to me, feel free to reply if
not) and I have this problem using them in an USB external memory card reader.

The REAL problem is EJECT command (either launched from terminal or from
nautilus right click)
The UMOUNT command works (from terminal and from nautilus)
I still don't understand why some people have UMOUNT instead oF EJECT in
nautilus right click.
My system is regularly updated and I still have the problem with Feisty and
Nautilus Eject. (Nautilus right click have still eject command, no umount)
but now eject /media/... works from terminal.
This is true for an external hard disk and an external memory card reader (via
usb).

I confirm, with hal version 0.5.9-1ubuntu2~feisty1 from backport everything
works fine.
It changed eject command in nautilus with umount.
It fixed also Bug #108643 so that bug was the same one and was related to
nautilus eject problem.

I got another problem just right now with this.
I added a new mp3 profiles (Because I can't use the default one)
I closed and reopened Sound Juicer.
Then I deleted the new profile I added before.
I closed Sound Juicer again.

Yes, I know the team is pretty small, I told you about that on purpose, because
Bug #206856, #206860 and #203722 (this) have very similar context, so they
could be dealt together, saving a lot of precious time.
If not, desktop team should take this bug some time in the future,
Ok, I reported the bug upstream.
About work to restart, I meant that these bug could be patched together
at once, if a person is aware of them.
Now it miss just the importance to be set (and status in case).

I confirm the bug with Hardy 32 bit updated running in Virtualbox.
The only difference is that when I click on Floppy drive from
Places-Computer come up Impossible to mount position(or something like
this) No media in the drive

Sourcepackagename: None = nautilus
Could someone give a feedback if it happens with other languages?

I'm using Hardy Alpha 6 (live cd) and I can still reproduce this bug with
firefox and evolution.
I don't know about amarok, thunderbird and wow.

Enabling Desktop Effects, some part of firefox, thunderbird and evolution
windows are black for few seconds when I deminimize them.
As I said, I can reproduce it in Evolution and Firefox using Hardy Alpha 6
(live cd) with compiz enabled (it enables it automatically on startup:
radeon IGP 340M, open source ati driver).
