I've seen the same thing with the DVDs. It was really confusing because
totem appeared to be having troubles with the DVD and when I closed it,
I could still hear the DVD playing. I was really confused til I realized
it was playing in the other session...

I also geeting the same problem, but not on the main console. I only get
this problem when I login using XDMCP from a remote terminal. I have
g-p-m running, so all I can think of is that g-p-m does not interact
correctly when running from a remote session. This bug is very

Just upgraded to gutsy, I'm not sure if this was in feisty or not.
If you go to the preferences in nautilus you can set the default zoom
level. I set it to 75% there, but in the actual view itself that option
seems to correspond to 67%..
I am surprised that after two years this bug has still not been fixed.
Has anyone even started trying to fix it? Have the developers even
discussed the problem? The bug is very visible, every user that installs
a custom theme will see it when they use synaptic or any gksu app.

Whenever I log in, the gnome panels come up normally, but instead of the

me know what percentage of the battery I have.
When I go to System Prefs Power Managment, It still doesn't give me
a tab for 'On Battery' not sure what all this means, but hope this

I can reproduce it. If I plug my IPod into my ubuntu 9.04 system all updates

Hi pedro, I am on karmic alpha 1. This crash doesnt seem to set off

Having reviewed the screenshot I submitted here, I realize that this bug
is not visible in the screenshot I provided. The screenshot makes it
seem that the problem does not exist. However, some text is indeed not
visible (highlighted over) when selected in evince.

Gedit lags when there are many brackets in a file and highlight
matching brackets is enabled.
To repeat bug:
1) Open a file with at least 300 lines, with many brackets. A source code
file, for instance.
2) Enable highlight matching brackets in
I'm was this issue with one server I use. I fixed this by asking for the
supported server options. It then gave me either PASSWORD or GSSAPI. I
changed to GSSAPI, then restarted. This failed completely. (I suspect a
half-configured setup on the server side - they probably tried to get
GSSAPI set
This isnt a bug its a design decision and its very old so im marking
this bug as invalid.
