I rebuilt Oneiric's gstreamer on Precise and can confirm that it still works. The rebuild was done keeping the multi-arch changes that were introduced in Precise, so we know for sure that it's 0.10.35 => 0.10.36 that broke it, most likely in the gstreamer0.10 source though not impossible it's cause
