Hello,
I also have this bug in Karmic Koala (all updates). This appears to
be an error between FSpot and Gnome. If I manually unmount the camera
BEFORE launching FSpot, all is working. FSpot needs to be patched to
have an umount script just prior to initialising.

tries, but if & when I transfer a new podcast it more often than not
shows up under the Music>Artists directory and not the Podcast
directory. There is something wrong with the way rhythmbox is parsing
the iTUNEdb.

I can confirm that this is still an issue in Maverick. However, I have
been able to get Brasero to work burning an Audio CD (both stand alone
and from Rhythmbox (which is better for novice users).

Turned out to be the nVIDIA drivers incorrectly installed - don't know
why. Uninstalled them, and then reinstalled them, everything works.
Something to do with improper OpenGL/GLX setup.
