A couple of things/differences I noted whilst reading through your logs:
- The Xorg.0.log from Herd5 mentions it can't initialize the GLX extensions,
since it is using the Nvidia libglx.so
Might this be the cause?

Happens right after login, didn't do anything yet.

Same problem.
Just surfing using Firefox, not doing anything else.
Since I don't know what caused it/how to reproduce it it seems kind of
difficult to make a decent Valgrind log.
Would it be usefull to just start the Valgrind log and wait/hope it crashes?

Reopening since I am also experiencing this bug.
Just connected to an FTP server with username/password.
Uploading (via copy/paste or dragging) doesn´t work, downloading (via
copy/paste or dragging) works fine.
Tried it with 3 different FTP servers (all with username/password) and all of
them
After a restart everything seems fine.
