My Setup:
Ubuntu 10.04 64bit, kernel v2.6.32-25-generic, standard release gnome desktop.
This bug is present on my computer. I mainly encounter it because I
share my computer with my wife. She has her account and I have mine. I
am the system administrator of my computer, and when the need arises
I clicked on fix released and it took me to this comment page without
any link to a fix. How do I find where the fix link is for Natty?

I apologies for my last comment. I just woke up and didn't quite have my brains
with me yet. It should be noted however that having status indications at the
top of the page that say fix released might be a little confusing to new
people, or experienced people who are in a sleep induced

My themes are broken, and nothing appears to work in order to get the
gnome-settings-daemon working properly again.

Unable to start the settings manager 'gnome-settings-daemon'.
None of the proposed solutions so far works for my setup at all.

Oops, I forgot that long outputs were not allowed. I'll attatch the debug

Attached to this post is the output of:
sudo gnome-settings-daemon --debug --no-daemon
Lots of debug info, then it just hangs and does nothing else on the last
line.
