[Bug 133442] Re: totem crashed with SIGSEGV
I can reproduce it on my amd64 machine at work as well. Valgrind doesn't work (SIGILL), but I got a better trace, attached. ** Attachment added: backtrace.txt http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8892217/backtrace.txt -- totem crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133442 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

And here's the backtrace I made while following the HOWTO.. ** Attachment added: gdb-totem.txt http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8892219/gdb-totem.txt -- totem crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133442 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 133442] Re: totem crashed with SIGSEGV
Could you try if that's still happening with the new 2.19.90 version? Does it happen when you dnd files from your disk or only link from a webbrowser? -- totem crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133442 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 133442] Re: totem crashed with SIGSEGV
2.19.90 isn't on my mirror yet, I'll try when it gets there. It doesn't happen when I dnd from nautilus. The page I dnd from is: http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/ (the 'Watch with Windows Media (Best for Full Screen)' link). I use epiphany as my web browser. -- totem crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133442 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 133442] Re: totem crashed with SIGSEGV
Doing it the other way around (first start the NASA video, then drag a video from the local disk to the side-pane) doesn't crash it either. -- totem crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133442 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Crash also happens when totem has an empty playlist, and you drag the link to it. -- totem crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133442 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
