You have been subscribed to a public bug: I'm running Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon 32bits on a Packard Bell Easynote laptop. Despite the fact that I have set display brightness to 100% on both AC power and battery power using gnome-power-preferences, the brightness of the screen is decreased when I plug the laptop in, and increased when I unplug the laptop. The brightness applet/panel has no effect at all. This is the case roughly half of the times I boot Ubuntu.
** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Brightness increased when unplugged, decreased when plugged in https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/164527 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
