Although I might be wrong about bug bug 1727356 here. Your CPU is newer
than other people experiencing that.
Maybe see bug 1779476 instead. What happens if you wait a few minutes?
Does it eventually come up?
And what happens if you wiggle the mouse while waiting? Does it come up
sooner?

That makes me think you might be hitting bug 1727356. Can you please try

It also happens when you type the wrong password and again login it
shows black screen and cursor. I guess its a bug and they will fix in
next update.
