Great, there is a known issue that if thumbnailing fails for some reason then it will never be retried again. Yes, that fixed it! They regenerated! I don't know what caused the issue. Once i copied the file it is now shown correctly in the new location (the Desktop). But i have a hell of a lot more files in the main Music folder which do have a cover shown inside Gnome Videos while Nautilus doesn't show covers for them. I am using MusicBrainz Picard from Ubuntu repos for saving the cover photos. No idea why some cover images show up and some do not. Thank you for your bug report, the cover is correctly displayed there. Could you try to copy it to another directory from a command line and see if it's correctly generated there?
