the topic has been discussed during the previous desktop team meeting, the consensus was to use the current intrepid dialog and to change the applet it the corner to be the fast user switching one and not the session button, the change is in intrepid but configurations are not migrated to the new

upstream is going to change the dialog, that should land to intrepid today or tomorrow when new tarballs are rolled you can see screenshots of the new dialogs on http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=507101 they will still have two dialogs but once those changes have landed we can consider
