To prevent non-admin user from changing xorg.conf setting, I tried the following: - go to System - Administration - Authorizations - From the left menu, go to com-ubuntu-screenresolution-mechanism-Change Screen Resolution - Click Edit, set Active Console to Admin Authentication Or modify the
