Kamus, I've checked Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick and 10.04.1 Lucid and both load Movie Player correctly. I am only aware of one type of DVD, ie. DVD video. I get the same result with various DVD's from my collection. libdvdread4 is installed. I get the same result with Karmic on a different box.
