nobody uses xchat-gnome and i think this should be done for xchat not
xchat-gnome
xchat is more featured.

The plugin can work in both, I'll investigate packaging it in a way that
handles both cases nice. My experience is the opposite, xchat-gnome
supports the features most people care about and has a simpler user
interface. I haven't met anyone in years that used xchat (i guess until
now), but I am
I don't think xchat-gnome falls into the category of indicator-
application, xchat-gnome is messaging and belongs in the MeMenu. I
already wrote a plugin for xchat-gnome for messaging menu support. It
isn't 100% yet, but it mostly works.
