This is a call to libgnome(ui) / glib / gtk+ / xdg-* hackers to update
        http://live.gnome.org/LibgnomeMustDie
in order to get a better overview of what still needs to be done
codewise to provide substitutes for to-be-deprecated functionality in
libgnome(ui).

If stuff in the ToDo list is still valid, say so on that wiki page.

If substitutes are available, elaborate by clearly naming them (plus an
"available since $module version x.y"?) and maybe even link to the
corresponding API docs in library.gnome.org if you find the time.
(Would be even better if libgnome(ui) documentation on library.gnome.org
would directly mention and link to corresponding substitutes in more
cases and declares more stuff as deprecated, but that's probably really
a task for its maintainers.)

If you're a module maintainer and have ported your module already, share
your wisdom so people don't have to reinvent the wheel and save some
time spent for investigating.

Make it easy for maintainers to port and for potential contributors to
provide patches.

Thanks,
andre (dreaming of a GNOME 2.99)
