It can be used as a hard drive with random read and write. I've taken
dvd-ram disks and formated them with the UFS, it behaves exactly like a
giant floppy drive.

Hello shao xuan,
That is great that glx works. However I do not
know how to make compiz work, sorry, hopefully someone
else knows how to (I compiled compiz on my
solaris 10u5 box, all the window title bars disappear
if I enable compiz).
Thanks, Mark

That's weird. My Plextor also supports the dvd-ram standard. It's

Hi there. Finally assembled all of the URL's to each test ran on each
browser on each platform. There's a total of about 60 different
platforms tested, and the benchmark features 26 specific tests covering
different areas. I do not have this plotted.

Hello shinsui,
Maybe this software supports DVD-RAM, but my problem is: the OpenSolaris OS
can't even recognize DVD-RAM disc, not to mention accessing it using softwares.
Thanks,

Hello James,

Hello,
I have found that opensolaris doesn't support DVD-RAM fromat too. When I insert
a DVD-RAM disc (with contents in it), the OS doesn't recognize it. But OS
recognize DVD and CD. This same DVD-RAM can be recognized in windows xp of the
same machine (dual boot of windows xp and opensolaris).
