The flash you want is in the "extra" repository... Can you look in usr/lib/firefox/plugins/ an tell us if you have libflashplayer.so in that repository? In additions to the library (ffmpeg etc) also make sure you grab the gst-plugin-*** file that corresponds with that library. with out the gstrea

The other "bits and and pieces" were dependencies which seemed to be OpenSolaris Gnome libraries. Basically it seems that spkg is sort of like pkg-get for Blastwave or Aptitude for Debian Linux systems or Yum for Red Hat Linux systems. A package manager for short! As well as just installing th

I can't give you any information about the login issue because as I said in a previous post I reinstalled OpenSolaris. All I know is that it added an entry to grub, something like something-1 or something_1. I tried both those entries (the old one and the new one) in grub but none worked. They b

OK, I can't add those repositories because I updated my system yesterday and now I can't login anymore no matter what session I choose. I tried Gnome, failsafe-Gnome, terminal. If I choose terminal I'm taken back to the login screen. If I choose either Gnome I get the wallpaper and that's all. N
