Is it possible that setenv() is being called from another thread?
This could end up being a huge can of worms -- all of our libraries do
things like calling into gettext() from random arbitrary worker threads
and gettext() calls (thread-unsafe) getenv().

settings.

I've moved to Fedora, so I can't check, but you have all the details to
reproduce on the other report. You just need to create a text document,
and use the Gentium font. The PS file sent to CUPS will be corrupt, and

My email-inbox already gets flooded from his spam with out-of-office-
notice!! I have marked it as spam and unwanted to stop this.
I think, I will also unsubscribe until then. I don't hope, he is victim
of a spam

soffice.bin crashed with SIGSEGV in
correct - when trying to open gedit from Alt+F2 it only opens opens every
other time
(same as when trying to open a text file from the files lens which defaults to
gedit, if switched to another default editor then no issue in the lens

It's nothing I can't live with, but as stated in the original bug description,
it's somewhat annoying when you don't realize that it's supposed to do that.
Imho it deters users with more experience from upgrading.
The action should be some kind of extra power saving option and not on by
default.
