As workaround I currently use kernel option acpi_brightness=vendor. Now startup
brightness is equal to 100% :-)
And if display goes dim after inactivity timeout brightness is not restored and
stayes 0%. But this problem handles keyboard shortcuts for increasing
brightness with xbacklight.

apt-get install (after adding the ppa). The syntax is

fresh install from the LibreOffice 3.4.3-302 DEBs at

Everything works fine now, so it seems to be a packaging error in

and contains the username as expected. This fixes the problem I
originally logged as Bug #864109 in Oneiric beta 2
I can't verify that the problem with dh-make is fixed as I'm not
involved in repackaging.

I upgraded the package yesterday and the slow startup bug has disappeared:
now it takes about 4/5 seconds to load and display all my twitter messages.
For the moment I did not notice any other bug.

A lot of people seem to be moving back to the LTS, myself included. Of
course many of us probably should have stuck with the LTS in the first
place. It's just that historically, Ubuntu has done well enough with the
six month releases that they could be used in a production environment.

I only possible to use GNOME3 fallback session after I customized my Panel
lookup.
I removed my top panel, and create a new panel. After this I add the new panel
with I wanted applets, and add the main menu applet.
