There is .xsession-errors.txt attached to the bug but I can upload a new
.xsession-errors when I will be at home.
The bug doesn't happen all the time. It's a local login and not a guest session.
In the same session, the icons can disappear and then re-appear after a few
minutes.

More specifically, sometimes after a wake-up my entire theme is wrong,
and it looks like a default Gnome theme has been applied. Re-selecting
my theme in Appearances fixes everything except Nautilus itself (i.e.,
the title bar is fixed, but not the internal window). So I see the
same behavior as
I see this intermittently as well. I'm using 11.04 Classic on a Dell
laptop.
Usually this occurs when I wake up the computer after it was suspended,
especially if it was not docked when suspended, and then I dock to wake
it up. (The dock has an external monitor attached.)

11 pt * 96 DPI / 72 == 1320
however that would give an overlap of ~40 pixels instead of 6 pixels.

Seb points out that the indicator-datetime hasn't changed since oneiric
so this is not likely to be a regression. This is possible; on
reflection, the last time I would have needed Central Time would have
been in January, so I wasn't trying to select this timezone at all in
oneiric, so maybe
PS - I tried it at home on the Unity GUI and it was OK, which may
explain the lack of deafening complaints. It is only on the classic
GUI, which the work system reverted to because the hardware was not
capable enough.

I have since moved to Oneiric so I cannot say that I have the same issue

copy a CD, failing with the exact same error message. However, I found

This also affects me after upgrading to 3.0.0-13 this morning on a Dell
Dimension 9200 w/ 2GB RAM running AMD64. This is too much of a
production machine to spend a lot of time playing with it. I can
confirm that manually restarting lightldm works. I have reverted back
to 3.0.0-12 for the time
