After many tests, the problem was solved by editing /etc/pulse/default.pa and
replacing string:
load-module module-udev-detect
by
load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0

The recent updates have simply removed the checkbox from system-config-
printer-gnome. Admittedly, you can manually add network printers by
entering the IP address of the local print server (or whichever computer
has the printer connected to it), but printers still do not show up
automatically.

I have 12.04.1 LTS (64), and I just realised that this affected me too.
Updating /usr/share/applications/gnome-online-accounts-panel.desktop fixed this
as per Antonio's comment.
Before
OnlyShowIn=GNOME;
After
OnlyShowIn=GNOME;Unity;
This took immediate effect. Log out was not required.

For the command line inhibited that read this thread; on my Ubuntu 12.04
/ XFCE system I was able to get Evolution's colors to be correct by
using Synaptic package manager to install the shimmer-themes package.
It includes the albatross, bluebird and greybird themes. Select one of
these themes
