Just one of the fourteen disk volumes on my machine is displayed with a
star and a triangle in the lower-right corner (screenshot attached).
These icons are unlabeled, do not have hover text, are not self-
explanatory, and do not appear to respond to left or right mouse
Tried it again with nouveau.debug=trace but it logged a surprisingly
small amount after the MMIO write error. Probably froze. I couldn't
switch to a virtual console but DPMS(?) worked strangely enough (monitor
both went to sleep and woke up).

Raring regression: SNA fails

launch calc
- begin editing new spreadsheet and calc freezes (occurs on first event, e.g.
click in cell, type first letter/number), calc window goes grey for upwards of
30 seconds, then unfreezes and normal editing resumes
- opening additional spreadsheets

So now I tried to install the Xorg driver via Sources, then I did apt-get
install --reinstall xserver-xorg-video-ati. This time, the login screen won't
even work (see attachments). I had to connect an external screen in order to
see something. The external screen is too large on its bottom.
