The reason this is happening is that NetworkManager is not sending the
proper signal. In the log we should find a signal sent with value 20.
This is not there. If you do 'nmcli nm' when your phone is in this
state, it will get fixed (nm reinitializes its state and sends the
signal it should have
In my case the move operation successfully completed after a while. But
the progress dialog didn't show any progress at all, it appeared
completely stuck, which, from a users perspective, can be problemtic.
The transfer was over sftp and the file was a few GBs.

I also experienced this issue when using the composer in Geary 0.8.1
under 14.10 x64. Disabling IBus worked for me.
If someone ever gets assigned to this bug, feel free to contact me for

The nouveau driver does not work, but the nvidia drivers work as long as
I don't use 3D stuff like steam games like half life 2. The moment I
fire up a 3D game it gets

It freezes when I try opening menus or some 5-10 minutes into using the
laptop. Using an external mouse, and laptop never freezes even for a
