It is interesting that I had no problems when connecting to an ASUS
monitor at home. When I brought the laptop to my work desk, and

start on boot, and the low graphics mode dialog is presented instead,

Whether or not this works with xrdp probably depends on how your session
is set up. I just tried installing gnome-session-flashback and xrdp on
the vivid daily CD; the default configuration does nothing, but the
following ~/.xsession:

I also had the same issues, and post 12 worked for me in Ubuntu Gnome
15.04.

All applications with a Launcher icon have a set of standard commands,
such as Unlock from Launcher and Quit. They should all have a Show
All Windows command as well.
It is really bothersome when I have Terminal open and click on the
Launcher icon and I see one window come
after doing a little bit of digging, it looks like this is an issue
specifically with the 4.0 RC5 Kernel
