On a vivid which was originally updated from Trusty and is up to date I created
a new user (via System Settings > User Accts) and logged in as that user.
Clicking on Files opens a new icon in the launcher.
The desktop file the system has put in the launcher is
org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop

I've tested both the Lubuntu 20150330 i386 and amd64 images on two
totally different sets of hardware.
Both fail to boot to the live DE on this hardware:
Intel Atom CPU 230 @ 1.60GHz
Intel 82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)
Intel N10/ICH 7 Family High Definition Audio Controller (

I was also affected by this type of back when attemtping to connecto to
a Lubuntu 14.04 server with X2Go server there (and from a Ubuntu 14.04
with Unity and X2Go client, in case this matters). Things were working
as expected yesterday (no patches needed), when I was setting up the

I tried xorg-edgers, but no improvement (xorg-video-intel is version 2.99.917

the machine and I haven't had any issue. I would say the enablement

I'm using a lot unity-lens-files functionnality, unfortunatly on my
computer I have many same files name in different folders and with
unity-lens-files I didn't find out the way to know the source file path
of them. File path should be displayed at least in the details view
