I could not reproduce on xenial. Both mir-on-x and mesa worked for me.
Note that there is a known issue with the nested server not being able
to detect the platform (lp:1515558) so a '--vt' switch is needed on the
server for correct behaviour.

This bug is still present in transmission-gtk 2.84 (14307), and still
makes webseeds just about useless. Note that transmission's bug tracker
lists #5580 as "closed (worksforme)" and that bug was last updated 2
years ago. This bug should probably be re-raised upstream.

The same here for me.
I am running it on my HiDPI mobile workstation. The internal screen is set to
x1.25; my external screen is set to x1.0.
When I switch the screen, the cursor is off. Did not try to resize yet,
but will try to find a way to test this bug for non-HiDPI users.
