Mode(whatever it is meant for) should be toggled on because clicking on
it doesn't toggle it

Previously in 15.10 I had the following rule in
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-no-touchscreen.conf:
Section "InputClass"
Identifier "Touchscreen disable"

This worked in disabling the touchpad on my

* The AppStream YAML spec describes a way to include width/height properties
in cached-icon metadata, which isn't forward-compatible to the old spec.
* asglib doesn't implement the full spec in the release present in Xenial, so
it ignores cached icons with size
On Ubuntu 16.04 / Unity 7.4.0+16.04.20160415-0ubuntu1
No more affected, nautilus doesn't show anymore when I empty trash.

This is becoming more and more of an important issue as distributions
switch to building all their packages against GCC + libstdc++ 5 and
plaster their libraries with [abi:cxx11] tags.
Since Ubuntu 15.10 Clang is basically unusable, every library making use
of std::string has to be recompiled

I suspect that this might be DPMS related. When I use xscreensaver with
screen blanking but no DPMS, the problem doesn't seem to occur. When I
use xscreensaver with DPMS and standby (setting suspend and off to high
values so they don't get triggered), freezes occur when trying to use
the computer
