I can confirm this too, on 16.10 and 4.8 kernel. The touchpad gets detected as a mouse by udevd and libinput configures it as a mouse. Any workarounds for this? To trick udev, that it is a trackpad? I'm afraid this is a kernel issue, not Ubuntu/xorg :/ -- You received this bug notification
