This is pretty nasty. I'm on a Dell laptop, running an oem kernel, with 20.04.1
lts, and some oem firmware for the nvidia prime tool. Anyway, a few times a
day, the laptop freezes up, no hid available. When I reboot by powering down
(only thing that works, not even ssh), I look into my logs,

I applied the same settings that in the case of 16.04.
Result: 20.04 - nothing is printed. 16.04 - print without any question or issue.

I get a crash which is not visible. It seems it occurs while ligthdm is
starting after the system startup. Finally I get the lightdm invite and
I can login.
