The first two wallpapers weigh 8.8MB. We're still waiting on the
official wallpaper from the design team, but in the last few releases it
weighed on average around 1MB.
For future reference, here is the list of total size in MB for each

3,8Mlucid
So, I upgraded from 20.04 to 21.04 to answer that question. And no, it
doesn't work in 21.04 hirsute either.
And now, since the last known working version 20.0.4-2ubuntu1 is not in
hirsute repos I can't downgrade to a working state. :/

Right, but it seems it's failing to compute valid requests for one of
the items in the 'applications' list, knowing which one would perhaps
make it possible to get a testcase

I'm not sure what you mean by "which software is creating the issue"---
the crashing process is gnome-control-center; everything else on the

I had already attached a screenshot.
Anyway I double checked now and the button to close the 'Preferences' window

As far as I'm concerned I would consider the bug closed.
Best regards and many thanks.

It looks like I was wrong, and the crash is still occurring with
libx11-6 2:1.7.0-2ubuntu0.1 in hirsute, for example:
https://errors.ubuntu.com/oops/91f6b2d4-1353-11ec-a828-fa163e102db1
The fact that the crash frequency dropped way off after 20.04 could just
be explained by:
* Most people
upstream comment also state 'Firefox 93 will fix that for old Gtk
versions.'

I don't have a clue on how to get that information.
All I see is that when I update VirtualBox on Windows 10, the guest

Besides that, I am clueless.
