to launch Discord for the first time in a long time. The snap will only
launch from a terminal, not the shell ("not a snap cgroup error").

I have the exact same bug, using Xorg. VM worked until updated to
Jammy, now shows just like in OP's video: Launcher is drawn fully, but
only the top left part of the background draws. Dragging windows in

When I try to use ubuntu-bug on the crash file (with and without sudo),
apport seems to silently crash without ever getting to the point of

On my system, launching from the icon seems to be failing with an
uninitialized window. If I launch it from a console, sometime I see
that same problem, sometime I get the black window Paul described, and
occasionally it works properly.
So I think we're all seeing the same issue, it's just that
I tested with the nvidia-313-updates package on my new P150EM and got
the same results. Backleveling xserver -xorg-core works around the
problem.
