I moved to quantal (Ubuntu 12.10) and the problem is gone. Looks like it is fixed in the chromium version i.e. Version 22.0.1229.94 Ubuntu 12.10 (161065) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu.
