I concur. Whilst 18.04's TeXlive-2017(?) is usually fine (for me),
it's age is starting to present a few annoyances.

My printer does NOT auto-upgrade and it started having the problem immediately
after the `ghostscript' "upgrade".
There is no doubt about this, colour printing was working fine yesterday until
the upgrade, then it went all blue-background.
I have not (yet?) tried reverting `ghostscript', I am

A bit of searching on the 'Net has found complaints this is happening
