The problem (or at least the first one), is the front channel DAC. Official emu20k2 cards use CS4382 on all channels, so that's the only DAC the driver has code for. Auzentech Forte has an AK4396VF on front channels, and CS4382 for other channels (which all work correctly). We should be able to port code from drivers in ALSA that already handle AK4396 (oxygen, ice1712) to get this working.
