I'm using a script in /etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/pre-up.d to
assign a pseudorandom mac address using the cloned-mac-address setting
(via this command):
> nmcli connection modify wifi.cloned-mac-address
(Specifically, I'm using
@mathieu-tl, I just sync'd the utopic ISO in TestDrive and ran it in
VirtualBox... I confirm that the mouse pointer speed slider control
exists and functions as seen in the attached screenshot.

Not sure if it matters, but I'm also experiencing this problem in 13.04
with a directory on my BTRFS array as the backup target destination.

I only started having the problem when I installed this plugin to thunderbird:

FWIW, this is with fedora17, not ubuntu, so it's definitely not a
problem with ubuntu
