This workaround seems to working fine for me with all the PCs :
sudo mv /usr/lib/gnome-settings-daemon-3.0/keyboard.gnome-settings-
plugin /usr/lib/gnome-settings-daemon-3.0/keyboard.gnome-settings-
plugin_bug
