If a user have a reasonable number of connections, they can edit
settings per connection manually.
Each connection has a config file in /etc/NetworkManager/system-
connections/
They can add
powersave=0
to the [wifi] section of each file.
I did the reverse and had to add "powersave=1" before

The problem is that there is no global setting for that. You can enable
or disable PM in NM per connection. Global settings are possible if you
are not using NM.
A perfect solution is to make that setting in NM config. It is very easy
yo do.

I can set Ctrl+Shift in 'Text Entry', but it does not switch anything.
If I set Ctrl+Space (e.g.) it does work. But works badly.
Badly means that I need to take care of which key is released first.
And also if I switch 10 or 20 times fastly, system hangs for a while.

I upgraded from 13.04. Old layout switch by Alt+Shift works, but there is no
way to change it or turn off. Even in dconf.
New switch is unusable.

For a couple of years there is a workaround for Cyrillic languages a
patched unzip. But the problem is that if p7zip-full is installed, file-
roller always uses it as a backend and there is no way to switch it to
unzip. This cuses that Russian users

I also noticed weird behavior.
When I press '+' in 'wallpapers' I get 'select file' dialog. I select a file
and an icon of a wallpaper is added to 'Pictures folder', I can add again, then
another icin is added, etc. And I can't remove duplicate icons. This looks

I am afraid that I cannot provide any additionsl details. I ran update-manager
-d and after that the described problem appeared.
Funny thing that is I did not logout normally, but reatarted lightdm it was OK.
Now it is fixed by adding Russian keyboard layout again from welcome screen.
I probably was not clear enough. I use linux for a long time but never used it
with GUI before, so I do not exactly know how things are called here.
I mean keyboard input switch, where I can choose the language to type in.

I fixed it temprarily by changing default printer language to
postscript in /etc/libreoffice/psprint.conf
It seems that defaul PDF language is broken in 3.5.

I found a way how to fix it. It will help to fix it really.
After logout I added the language again usung language selector settings. Now
it works.
Probably an upgrade issue, when settings are stored somewhere else.
