I just experienced the same on my system: IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T61 - running Ubuntu 10.10
I attached my Droid BIONIC Android phone to the USB cable while running Banshee ... it immediately crashes! Duplicatable, repeats the same every time, no matter what mode I use when connecting: (PC Mode, Windows Media Sync, USB Mass Storage) Please advise if you find a solution.
