without remembering that it does the wrong thing in the case of missing
directories. I think the correct fix here is to reevaluate our approach

I think I'm suffering from the same problem. I have the same machine
(including graphics card) and the OS says it has to run in low graphics
mode. When I try to run in that mode, it sends me to the terminal. If I
choose recovery mode, then bail out and choose "resume normal boot",
then it does load

The summary says it all -- I've changed the shortcuts, reset defaults,
used CCSM to configure shortcuts -- Unity Tweak, Ubuntu Tweak, et al --
cannot get it to work. The particular one I'm interested in is the
"Move (switch to) Workspace Right" and "Move(switch to) Workspace
Also an issue in 13.04/raring. Makes editing batch and other code on a
windows server problematic (have to use `rdesktop` client instead).

Individual offers of $50 on a bug report are great, but we talked of
having a Kickstarter. I bet in the current climate we could raise
thousands.
Who is capable of taking a quarter million dollars, or 120k, or 50k,
or 10k, and doing this?
