I have found that version 2.2.8 that comes with Ubuntu 18.10 works fine. I downloaded and installed it into Ubuntu 18.04 from https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/2.2.8-5ubuntu1.2 and it asked for login and all admin functions were working as expected. -- You received this bug notification

What? it looks like this was submitted September 2012 almost a year ago..? I have moved on ubuntu 13.04 or whatever... But I still cannot get Wine to work well with Windows applications like Slingbox. I cannot even use Slingbox via the web browsers under Linux. I have to use Windows or Mac
