As a work around, you can enable the option Show floating icon when
Onboard is hidden in the General tab of the Onboard Preferences window.

I found a fully working workaround! By installing the Optifine mod you
can choose how the game is going to go into fullscreen mode. To do so
install the mod go to optionsvideo settingsOther and set fullscreen

partition starts behaving normally (i.e. clicking on the icon brings up

I tried to add my printer to Ubuntu 13.10 via system settings printers. After
the scan, I was presented with gutenprint as the only choice. I gave the OK,

When two windows are put side by side, working on one (thus clicking it) brings
focus away from the other, and the other way around. Still, hovering the cursor
on the inactive window without giving it focus can make that window scroll.

Status in “evolution-data-server”
As marmuta said above, the auto-show (auto-hide) needs the accessibility
framework to be enabled. In fact, it is the accessibility framework that
informs onboard about when to appear and hide. Thus, it is not possible
to use the auto-show feature without enabling the accessibility
framework.
